Rosane Tavares joined Guerra IP as a Senior Partner in January 2015 and is an expert in trademark prosecution, management and litigation, domain names, unfair competition, piracy, copyrights and software protection, as well as in patent filing management.
Ms. Tavares started her professional career in 1986 at Momsen, Leonardos & Cia, where she had the opportunity to work with the greatest national and international accounts from different fields of activity, included, but not limited to computer technology and videogames, beverages and foodstuffs, chemical and pharmaceutical, fashion industry, including for luxury trademarks.
Of special note, Rosane is a member of the Trademarks Guidelines Revision group since 1992 and had the pleasure of working in the 4 editions of the guidelines edited by the Brazilian Trademark and Patent Office, namely, the Trademark Analysis Guidelines of 1992, the Provisional Trademarks Analysis Guidelines of 1997, of the Trademarks Analysis Guidelines of 2010 and of the Trademarks Manual of 2014.
Currently she is a member of ABAPI, ABPI and ASIPI, I take part of the Board of Directors of ABAPI, where I also coordinate and teach in the Industrial Property Basic Course since 2006.
